Gail is best known to both staff and public as the voice on the telephone and face in the office at SIM Reception. She answers Frequently Asked Questions from all directions! In addition to her important role as the 'public face' of SIM, she manages the day-to-day transactions of instrumental stock, repairs and replacements, and records all details on SIM's extensive data base. She liaises with schools regarding the supply of instruments and the instrumental charge. Gail also provides administrative support to the senior staff, and deals with the paperwork, operational and financial records of SIM. She is the person who keeps leave records and advises schools when teachers are absent.

Gail can be contacted at SIM from 8.15am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, but is unavailable from 1.00pm - 1.45pm. Please restrict queries that require access to the computer instrument data-base to times when Gail is available.
